Committee Chairs

JoQuese is a seasoned compliance professional and recently took a Divisional Vice President Ethics & Compliance Officer role at Abbott after more than 15 years at Medtronic.  JoQuese started her career in a field-facing role in Medtronic’s diabetes unit.  She subsequently moved into quality assurance and then into ethics and compliance, where she had business-facing roles supporting Medtronic’s Diabetes and Pelvic health businesses, and most recently served as the global Chief of Staff and Governance and Risk Leader for Medtronic’s Office of Ethics & Compliance. JoQuese received her BS in Biomedical Science from Auburn University (2006), completed her MBA focused on Health Care Management (2010), and completed her Doctor of Health Administration degree from Capella University in 2019. JoQuese also received her Advance Healthcare Compliance Certificate from Seton Hall in 2021.

JoQuese currently serves as the Chair for the National Association of Black Compliance & Risk Management Professionals Corporate Advisory Board. In this capacity she works to assist the Board of Directors and Leadership Executive team with developing and implementing strategies to enable growth of the organization. Most recently she served on the San Antonio Boys & Girls Club and San Antonio Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board of Directors where she is the chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committees for both boards. She joined the MedTech Women board development working group in 2022 and is excited to work as the co-chair in the coming year.

In her spare time, JoQuese loves reading and working out at OrangeTheory and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
