Jessica Richter

Jessica Richter is a seasoned executive in the medical technology sector, bringing 20 years of experience across medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health. Driven by a deep belief that transformative technology can change lives, she founded Richter Advisory Collective (RAC) to partner with MedTech companies as a trusted strategic consultant, board member, and fractional executive. Her work is rooted in helping innovators bring meaningful solutions to patients faster. She collaborates closely with founders, investors, cross-functional leadership teams, and subject matter experts to unlock growth through agile clinical, regulatory, operational, and go-to-market strategies.  She previously served as Executive Vice President & General Manager at Veranex, where she led a 450-person global team within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) and Consulting Services division. In this role, she oversaw regulatory, quality, clinical, commercial, and market access programs supporting medtech innovators worldwide.  Earlier in her career, Jessica held roles at industry leaders Medtronic, Covidien, and Becton Dickinson, where she gained expertise in sales and commercialization, physician engagement, patient advocacy, and operational transformation. Her domain experience spans Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), surgical innovation, oncology, aesthetics, cardiology, and gastroenterology.  Jessica currently serves on the boards of MedtechWOMEN and UCLA’s Technology Development Group (TDG) and advises early-stage companies, accelerators, and academic programs including MedTech Innovator, UC Berkeley’s Master of Translational Medicine, Stanford Biodesign Faculty Fellows, and UCLA Biodesign.  She is passionate about advancing technologies that improve patient care and outcomes; while championing diverse, forward-thinking leadership in the industry. Jessica holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from UC Berkeley.  She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and finds joy outside of work in traveling, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and anything that involves animals.
