Dr. Endia J. Crabtree, BCMAS, FACE

Dr. Endia Crabtree is a Principal Clinical Product Risk Scientist at Boston Scientific, supporting Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology & Embolization business units. She has expertise in EU MDR Clinical Evaluation of Class II-III medical technologies, Medical Devices as Software (MDSW), team mentorship, leadership, and Generative AI implementation.

Dr. Crabtree leads assessments of clinical benefits, risks, and performance profiles of advanced medical technologies, collaborating with global teams. She mentors junior team members on regulatory deliverables and addresses product-specific CER audit requests.

She is actively involved with multiple organizations, including the American Medical Writers Association, American College of Epidemiology, Sigma Xi, The Ohio Academy of Science, Society of Women Engineers, and MedtechWOMEN. Additionally, she is a Global Co-Lead for the BRIDGE ERG at Boston Scientific.

Dr. Crabtree holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, an M.L.A. from The Johns Hopkins University, and an M.S. and B.A. from the University of Michigan-Flint. She completed postdoctoral fellowships in cancer survivorship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute. She is a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist and Certified Diversity Professional. Her upbringing in Flint, Michigan, instilled values of gratitude and resilience, driving her commitment to improving global wellness and quality of life.
