Ashley Seehusen

Ashley has spent the last ten years in medical device marketing; leading teams, setting business strategy, defining new products, and bringing them to commercialization. She began her career at Boston Scientific as an engineer before she found a passion for marketing. After returning to California, she worked at Intuitive Surgical and two different acquired Covidien businesses (Maya Medical treating Renal Denervation and Barrx Medical treating Barrett’s Esophagus). Ashley was recently at Stryker Neurovascular, where she was responsible for driving the Ischemic Stroke and ICAD Franchises and lead teams of product managers.

Ashley was a Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellow in the 2018-2019 class and is currently taking her Biodesign project forward into a company, Nasus Medical.

Ashley earned a BS from University of California, Berkeley and a PhD from University of Bristol, both in mechanical engineering. She also has a MBA from Babson College.
