More About Angela: At the age of 18, my life was changed when I joined a medical device start-up company (Volcano Therapeutics) in an administrative role. It was in this organization that I would find my professional talents and my passion for serving others. This came as a direct result of the kindness shown to me by a warm female executive who decided to have lunch with me – a very junior and insecure young woman. Through a single conversation, in an otherwise empty breakroom, I was given the kind of encouragement that would influence my professional and personalgrowth in ways I could have never imagined. I left the organization 6 years later as a Quality Engineer on a career path that would give me incredible opportunities for years to come. The profound interaction I had as that young woman, sparked a deeply rooted commitment to do the same for other women whom I would cross paths with throughout my career. To date, I have had the great honor to mentor dozens of young women who have gone on to confidently navigate this space, and have found that I am most fulfilled when I am contributing to a greater cause. The opportunity to support the MedTechWomen vision is one that I could not let pass me by. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother of two amazing children. I also love to climb big mountains, organize for fun, and ingest audiobooks and iced coffee with equal zeal. View All Committee Chairs
