Stephanie Franklin-Thomas, PhD, is a seasoned IT executive with over 28 years of experience in global business transformation and security initiatives. Currently, she serves as the Global VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Medtronic, overseeing strategies to protect the company’s global operations. Previously, Stephanie held executive roles at Fortune 500 companies, including Sr. VP and CISO at ABM Industries and Vice President and CISO at Motiva Enterprises. Her expertise includes cybersecurity, risk management, and corporate governance, focusing on enhancing organizational security posture and guiding complex M&A transactions.

Stephanie is a published author and frequent speaker on cybersecurity and D&I topics. She earned her bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University and a doctoral degree from Northcentral University.
