Mandi B Walters

As Hawthorne Effect’s Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Partnerships , Mandi leads the commercial activities and growth strategies that support research sites and patient access, bringing clinical trials to where patients need it most – in their communities and homes. Throughout her 20+ years of experience in the clinical research industry, Mandi has been involved in academic research, business development, strategic partnership and operational leadership roles supporting biotechnology, emerging markets, diagnostics and large pharma/med tech companies. Additionally, she has led centers of excellence within the oncology, rare disease and cardiovascular research areas. She began her career in an academic lab with research focused on stem cell and gene therapy.. She earned her Master’s of Science degrees in Molecular Genetics/Biotechnology and Medicine/Medical research from University of Florida’s College of Medicine.
