Maital Shemesh-Rasmussen has more than 20 years of experience as a global commercial executive and strategic adviser. In her role as Chief Commercial Officer at Octave, she is responsible for leading and bringing the first-in-market precision care solution in neurodegenerative diseases to patients, physicians, pharma and payers.

Maital is a leader in global commercialization of digital health and precision medicine solutions. She has extensive experience in growth and value-creation of patient-centric, data-driven products across multiple disease areas. Maital previously served as Global Head of Marketing at Roche, where she defined Roche’s PHC strategy, and successfully launched digital solutions globally. Some of her previous positions include Director of Product Marketing & Strategy at Oracle Healthcare and Precision Medicine, and Vice President of Global Marketing at JPMorgan. She also serves on the Board of Directors at Pluristem Therapeutics. Maital studied Behavioral Sciences at Ben Gurion University, Marketing Communication and Political Science at Bar-Ilan University, and Strategy, Finance, and Computer Science at Columbia University.
