Leeda Rashid, MD

Dr Rashid is a physician at the Digital Health Center of Excellence within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the FDA. Prior to joining FDA she worked with multiple start-ups helping develop digital health, AI/ML and clinical decision support tools that were both patient and physician facing. She has also worked with international agencies to deliver health tech products to Afghanistan where she is originally from. She is a practicing hospitalist at a county health system that serves many marginalized and vulnerable populations and believes strongly in the potential of digital health to improve access and quality for all patients. She is a graduate of the Oregon Health and Science University and the Harvard School of Public Health.
