Amy leads marketing at Tidepool, a nonprofit whose products make diabetes data more accessible, actionable, and meaningful for people with diabetes, their care teams, and researchers. Tidepool’s free software helps people analyze data from any diabetes device so they can manage their condition more effectively. Amy and her team drive awareness and adoption of a family of products including Tidepool Loop, an FDA-regulated automated insulin delivery app currently in development and supported by commercial partners including Medtronic, Insulet and Dexcom. Amy was part of the team that launched Nokia’s health business, a franchise that sold wearables and health devices under the Withings and Nokia Health brands. She’s advised startups in the wearables, fitness and aging-in-place segments. Earlier in her career Amy held marketing leadership roles with global tech companies in the U.S. and in Asia including HP, Adobe and Intel. She’s a lifelong competitive athlete and a graduate of Northwestern University (B.S.) and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (MBA, MA).
