Job Title

Sr. Software Developer

About the Core Technology Engineering (CTE) Tools Team

We are a small group looking for strong technical leads that want an opportunity to move fast and help build out our core platform and enable the broader development teams to create better products for our patients. This is a new group at the company and our mandate is to promote significant change that will improve the productivity of our engineering teams.

We have the potential to overlap with many teams, tear down organizational silos, and drive a strong culture of collaboration. If you see a high-leverage solution to a long-standing problem, you will be empowered to tear it all down and build the right solution, provided you have the will and a plan to execute.

If you are a software developer who is passionate about the usability of tools, this team will be a collaborative environment in which you will make a true impact on people's lives.

  • Scope, design, and implement full stack applications to interact with our robot and the data it generates. Your applications will be used by roboticists, software engineers, clinical engineers, testers and the broader organization
  • Identify opportunities to reduce friction in the software development process and increase engineering velocity.
  • Lead the expansion of internal telemetry and observability tools.
  • Educate internal development teams on how to best leverage available tooling
