The last several years have proved challenging for medtech companies. Shifting climates for public and private reimbursement, coupled with a weaker appetite for medtech investments within the venture capital community have made it especially difficult for early-stage companies in the US to secure funding. This environment has led many medtech companies to seek alternative methods of funding, including international funding or earlier entry to global markets as a revenue source. This panel will explore recent trends in funding, market mechanisms, and launch strategies outside the US.
